Love Story

I will blog about our weekend at a later date when I'm much less tired and give you all the gory and exhausting details, but this photo deserved a blog all of its own. Right now. My friend Lisa had a party for her little girl, Melanie, who turned two today. Today was actually the first time that Melanie and Hudson have ever met and yes, we are ashamed that we let two whole years slip away before we've introduced them. I think its safe to say that they hit it off.

This is one of the photos we will look back on in many years and laugh at and love. What sweet babies.

....oh and for the record: I would never let my son step out in socks and Sperry's but he was trying to run around the yard with the other kiddos and the deck shoes were slipping, I was afraid of blisters and they seemed to hinder his play so I threw on the extra socks I happened to have in his bag. Forgive me.
