We're Partin' with Logan Martin...
Lantis and I officially sold our lake house on Friday. It was very bittersweet. We really needed to let it go, but I will miss our little lake haven. We had lots of good times there and the stories are endless. There will be many more to come though.
Here I am
Finally I'm giving in to the growing pressure and I'm starting my own little blog. I must be a crazy woman! I work full time, I have a photography business (Lens Envy), I occasionally sell Southern Living at Home, I have an almost 18 month old, I have a facebook page, a myspace page, a photography website, a photography blog, a twitter account, and now this? I don't know when I'm going to draw the line, but I've got to do it soon.
So, as I mentioned, I have an 18 month old son, Hudson. He is my world. He makes me smile, laugh and cry daily. He does something everyday that absolutely amazes me and makes me think, "I made him?!" I love every moment I have with him whether its dancing to his favorite songs, watching Baby Einstein, rocking him and smelling his sweet fresh-from-the-bath hair while he drinks his milk before bed, throwing a ball back and forth with him, watching as he rides his tractor or 4-wheeler around the driveway, or wrestling in the floor with him while he "get's mommy". No matter what it is, every moment is precious and there's always something new and fun with him around. Everyone told me "enjoy him because time flies by" and they were SO right. I've tried to enjoy him as much as I can, but I still feel time slipping through my fingers like grains of sand. I wish I could stop the clock. I know I will look back and feel like I didn't take enough pictures, didn't video enough, didn't write things down, but I'm so busy with life and trying to enjoy him, when am I supposed to do all that!? Ha!
There's a little insight to my world for now and you're about to receive a lot more of it. This blog will show you more about my life than you may care to know--the good, bad, sad, nasty, and humiliating. Stay tuned for more and enjoy!
